Clifton “Clif” Rife

Clifton “Clif” L. Rife age 49 of Hambden Twp. died November 24, 2011 at the Cleveland Clinic. Born Feb. 8, 1962 in Holden, WV he was a lifelong area resident. Clif worked as a machinist for 31 years most recently with American Roll Form in Painesville. Clif went home to be with the Lord Thursday Nov. 24, 2011 surrounded by his family and friends. He was a member of Word of Faith Church in Chardon and enjoyed ministering to shut-in’s at the Geauga County Home. He enjoyed fishing and was very proud of his Fish Ohio for a walleye caught in Lake Erie. Clif loved riding his motorcycle and feeding the birds, especially the Cardinals. His greatest joy was spending time with his family; especially his dog. He was the beloved son of Marvin and Brenda (nee: Hall) Rife of Hambden Twp. and is survived by his sister Linda (David) Chapek of Thompson; brother Mark Rife of Hambden Twp.; Granny Ethel Rife of Delbarton, WV; nephew Jason (Sally) Chapek of Solon; niece Amanda Rife of Bean Station, TN; great nephews Charlie, Collin, and Carter Chapek; many aunts, uncles and friends and his best friend Velvet. He was preceded in death by his nephew Jeremy Chapek.
