CLARA M RAYL, Age 101, of Chardon, OH, died on Monday. November 23, 2015 at the Blossom Hill Care Center in Huntsburg, OH. She was born in Piqua, OH, on February 7, 1914, to Marion and Opal (Nee: Suppinger) Shaner. On October 23, 1937, she married Lester B. “Buzz” Rayl in Winchester, IN. Clara was a member of the Pilgrim Christian Church, a Girl Scout Leader and a member of TOPS. She had been very active with the March of Dimes.

Survivors include her son, James (Janet) Rayl of Chardon, OH; daughter in law, Kathleen Rayl of Vacaville, CA; son in law, Stuart Ginsburg of Saratoga Springs, NY; 7 Grandchildren; 14 Great-grandchildren, 2 Great-great grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Tom Rayl; daughter, Cindy Ginsburg; 1 grandson; 6 brothers and 2 sisters.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 29, 2015 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. (On Rt. 44, 500’ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon, OH.
