Mr. McClelland attended Pilgrim Christian Church in Chardon. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. He and his wife enjoyed traveling. He was an avid Cleveland Indians and Browns fan and especially enjoyed the Chardon Hilltoppers sports teams. He was an Assembly Supervisor for the Horsburgh & Scott Co. in Cleveland for 27 years, retiring in 1991. Previously, Mr. McClelland hauled bulk milk from farms to Cleveland area dairies for 23 years. Survivors include his wife Millicent “Millie ” (nee: Kuchta) McClelland of Chardon, OH, whom he married in Windsor, OH July 15, 1950, his children Daniel (Beverly) McClelland of Munson Twp., OH, Dean (Margi) McClelland of Hudson, OH, Mary (Tim) Williams of Chardon, OH and Ann (Barry) Klein of Hudson, OH. His grandchildren Daniel (Jenn) McClelland of Ft. Wayne, IN, Kelly (Dan) Slattery of Burton Twp., OH, Andy (Faith) McClelland of Hambden Twp., OH, Meghan (Matt) Vickers of Willoughby, OH, Bryan McClelland of Denver, CO, Katie McClelland of Westerville, OH, John Williams of Binghamton, NY, Jane, Sarah and Maggie Williams of Chardon, OH and Amy, Allison and Michael Zeleznik of Hudson, OH. He also leaves his great grandchildren: Kristyn, Tyler, Jack, Will and Evan, and sisters Phyllis Ciresi and Arlene (Burt) Fontaine. His father Floyd McClelland, mother Marguerite (nee: Ford) (Clifford) Carraher and brother Russell Carraher are deceased.
