I was so shicked and sad to here that Cheri had passed away ! She was a beautiful woman of God !!! I have been out of town and sorry I was not home to attend. I will be praying for Mike and the children and looking forward to the day I see her again in Our Father's house.

Cheri... we will remember your light and love forever... your love and your prayers for them will live on through the children that you love so much.

Cheri ad Mike were a part of my life right away after I came to know Jesus in 1999. They have been a part of my family in Christ since that time. Cheri Always had a fearless and bold spirit to share the truth, but always in love. She was always very humble and rather quiet in here demeanor, yet possessed tremendous intelligence and gifts, which she seemed to move in with proper confidence. I will never forget the first time I saw and heard her play the guitar and sing. Her stage presence was so strong I believe it reflected an anointing from the Lord. While Cheri and Mike moved on to help pioneer another church, when ever I met with them it was like running into dear family. She will be greatly missed.

Dear Mr. Michael Baldridge My name is Darlene Harris. I am 60 years old. I am writing you because I saw Cheri Coughlin Baldridge, your wife's obituary, and I was touched to see that a woman so young, accomplished, intelligent, and talented had died. After being married to her for 19 years, it will be a big adjustment for you. Hopefully, your 5 adopted children will be able to comfort you some. I saw in the obituary that your wife attended church & was active in the Bible study. I want to offer some words of comfort from the Bible. There are two scriptures that tell us that our dead loved ones will be resurrected, Acts 24:15 says “15 And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” John 5:28-29 says “28 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.” There are several examples of people getting resurrected in the Bible. The most memorable one was the resurrection of Lazarus, Jesus friend, who had been dead for four days. Lazarus, and all the others resurrected in the Bible, were resurrected to earth. The Bible ensures us that we can see our dead loved ones again here on earth. Jesus spoke of being dead as being sleep. So we know death is not something to fear, it doesn't hurt. John 11:11 says “After he (Jesus ), said these things, he added: “Lazarus our friend has fallen asleep, but I am traveling there to awaken him.” 12 The disciples then said to him: “Lord, if he is sleeping, he will get well.” 13 Jesus, however, had spoken about his death. But they imagined he was speaking about taking rest in sleep. 14 Then Jesus said to them plainly: “Lazarus has died, 15 and I rejoice for your sake that I was not there, so that you may believe.” When on earth, Jesus did on a small scale the things he will do on a huge scale when God's kingdom comes. He wanted his disciples and all of mankind to know and believe that he would heal all injuries and sickness, resurrect the dead, and restore the whole earth to a beautiful paradise. When God's kingdom comes Revelation 21:3-4 says “3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” We are taught to pray for God's kingdom to come in the Lord's Prayer at Matthew 6:9-10, but most people don't know about the wonderful blessings it will bring. Matthew 6:9-10 says “9 “You must pray, then, this way: “‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified.* 10 Let your Kingdom come. I'm so sorry to hear you lost your oldest sister, Cheri. Our thoughts and prayers are going out to your family. One day, we will all be reunited in Heaven but until then, our hearts break. God BLESS each of you.

I will remember her always. Memories of lock-ins at church and she would spontaneously write / sing a new song! Such a sweet and gentle spirit. Mike, I pray for your family. I pray for your peace and restoration of your joy. Cheri will be loved forever in our hearts. ~m

Cheri was a servant and loving heart! She was light in spirit and willing to laugh which I loved. On many occasions she would pick up her guitar and play for our worship team or at special events and not one time declined to be used! She along with her gifts and abilities will be missed by many including her church family at Horizons Christian Assembly! Rest in peace Cheri and we will see you in the days ahead as we enter into our reward.

Cheri was such a special person with a heart of gold and a great loss. Cheri was a blessing to work with.

My sister just always so generous and kind & helpful always thinking and helping others. You were just always there for me I don't know what I'm going to do without you there as my sister/friend you will be missed so much! Love you Cheri RIP

Though I did not spend a great deal of time with Cheri I loved her dearly. Her voice was like an angel and her Love of Christ shown in her every endeavor. My prayers and sympathy go out to the Baldridge family in this time of sorrow.
