Carrie Page, a homemaker, age 80 of Hambden Twp., OH died May 7, 2012 at Geauga Regional Hospital in Claridon Twp., OH. Born August 12, 1931 in Somerset, Pennsylvania to George and Daisy (Nee: Adams) Lambert, she had lived in Hambden Twp. since 1951, prior in Cleveland, OH and formerly from Mineral Point, Pennsylvania. Carrie Lambert married Richard Page in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, October 30, 1948. She attended the Hambden Congregational Church and her hobbies included woodworking, etched glass, camping and sewing. Carrie earned her CDL so she could drive with her husband in his truck on cross-country drives. She enjoyed playing the “slots” in Presque Isle, PA, Mountaineer, WV and Las Vegas. Carrie is survived by her husband Richard of Hambden Twp., OH; 4 daughters Laurie (John) Droese of Footville, OH, Barb (Roger) Ronschke of Hambden Twp., OH, Drew (Arthur) Gunther of Hambden Twp., OH and Daneen Page of Hambden Twp., OH; 9 grandchildren Rae Ann (Robert) Ahlman, Ron (Sara) Droese; Sandra (Michael) Colucci, Carrie, Ashley and Kaylee Ronschke; Richard, Robert and Jodi Gunther; and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters; 3 brothers; 1 grandson and 1great grandson. A funeral service will be held Friday, May 11, 2:00 PM at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, (St. Rt. 44, 500′ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square), Chardon, OH with Pastor John Dove of the Hambden Congregational Church officiating. Burial will follow at Hambden Twp. Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 10, 6-9 PM at the funeral home.
