Carol Frances (nee: Hoffart) Silvernail

December 21, 1948 - December 5, 2011

Carol F. SILVERNAIL (nee: Hoffart) age 62 of Munson Twp. died December 5, 2011 at Hillcrest Hospital. She is survived by her husband Ronald Silvernail of Munson Twp. whom she married December 1, 1979 in Cleveland Hts; children Rachel Roberts of North Carolina and Brad Roberts of Tennessee; grandchildren Alexandria Roberts of North Carolina and Chelsea and Hanna Roberts of Tennessee; mother Mollie (nee: Skolaris) Hoffert of Mesa, AZ; brothers Louis (Marie) Hoffart of Hinkley, OH and Kenneth (Carolyn) Hoffart of Huntsburg Twp and sister Judy (John) Stih of Arizona. Carol was a member of the Charles Dickens Society and enjoyed reading works by the author. Her greatest love was spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

Dear Ron: How I loved my good friend Carol and remember our days at Cole. She was my true friend, my mentor. I shall forever cherish our memories of leaning on each other in difficult times, searching through old books at all the favorite little antique shops, but most of all her genuine spirit. My heart is heavy and sad we lost touch. I know carol is in Heaven, reunited with her Dad and many loved ones-and at PEACE. My prayers are with you. I am sorry I am traveling on Friday and cannot attend the service for Carol, but I will be with in spirit. God Bless you at this difficult time. You always took such good care of Carol.

Ron, I'm so sorry for your losss. There are so many great memories - watching Monty Python movies during lunch, Glug (that stuff sneaks up on you), taping down the answer button on her phone, decorating Bill Bruccheri's office with candies when they were all on their January diets, the e-mails we shared over the years. Carol will be missed very much, but she is where she wanted to return to for a long time now. I'm sorry I won't be able to make it to Ohio, but know that Florida is sending much love and hugs to you as you struggle through this difficult time of numbness. Carol, it may look like a bottle of Diet Sunkist but in my mind it's a crystal goblet of your famous glugg, and I'm drinking a toast to you. You will will always be precious to me and I will be forever grateful for your and Ron's friendship. We still owe each other a trip to England so the next time I see you we'll be soaring together over that misty green island we both love.Ron... all our love.
