Carol E. (nee: Trask) Brcak, Age 86, of Montville, Ohio, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017. She was born in Hambden Township, Ohio on April 29, 1931 to Wina and Cora (Brannon) Trask. Carol attended Hambden Elementary and graduated from The Andrews School in Willoughby, Ohio.
On December 17. 1949, she married Joseph Brcak in Greenup, Kentucky.
She was a lifelong resident of Geauga County. However, upon retiring, she enjoyed spending the winter months in Eustis, Florida.
Carol was the Superintendents Secretary for the Geauga County Board of Education and the Ledgemont Local School District for 30 years. She attended Hambden Congregational Church since childhood and used to walk to church with her mother. Carol loved to dance, travel, play cards, listen to band concerts in the park, picnic at her son’s lake and spend time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Joseph C. Brcak of Montville, Ohio, her daughter, Tamara Brcak of Concord, Ohio and her son Barry (Kendra) Brcak of Montville, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Margaret Ogden, Alta Trask and Opal Richmond; brothers, Morris, Glenn, Wayne, Dana, Arlin, Bud and Aret (Sid) Trask.
