Brad Lee Herwig, Age 33, of Burton Twp., died at home on July 6, 2017, surrounded by his family. He was born on March 28, 1984 in Geneva, OH. Brad enjoyed videos, especially shopping at the mall in Walmart and Target. He liked his trips to Disney World, vacations to the beach in South Carolina and Lake Chautauqua, and going out to eat with his family, especially for pizza.

He is survived by his parents, Gary and Karen (Nee: Goskey) Herwig of Burton Twp.; sister, Lori (Benjamin) Shrock of Burton Twp., OH; niece and nephew, Melayna and Abram Shrock; grandmother, Luella “Lou” Herwig of Newbury Twp., OH; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Burton Congregational Church, 14558 W. Park St, Burton, OH 44021, on Saturday. July 15, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by Burr Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chardon, OH. Gary, Karen & Lori I am so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts & prayers are with you.

I ask for God's blessing on you and your family. May you find the courage and strength to move forward in peace and confidence knowing that His was a life well lived.

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. My son, Paul, was a classmate of Brad's at Metzenbaum & we have run into Brad at Chardon Walmart occasionally during our Saturday outings. Such a sweet, beautiful young man. My deepest condolences to the family.

I enjoyed many van rides with Karen and Brad. I was even beginning to learn Brad's language, but even better was that he knew and spoke my name! No family is perfect, but Brad's family was perfect for him. Hope you are having a great time in Heaven, and God has an endless supply of french fries and chicken nuggets! ????

Pure unconditional love is what I think about when I think about your whole family. Brad's blessings will continue for the rest of your life because he touched and opened hearts in amazing ways.

Brad, you will be missed especially at Christmas asking to open the "Presents" you were an inspiration to us all, but now it's my dads turn to watch over you.
