BILLIE JUNE STAWICKI (nee: Mayse)
Age 82 of Hambden Twp., died Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Cleveland Clinic, surrounded by her loving family. Born June 23, 1935 in Holly, WV to Lester and Grace (nee: Malcomb) Mayse, she lived in West Virginia before coming to Cleveland in 1953 and moved to Hambden Twp. in 1968. Billie was an active member of the Geauga Lyric Theater Guild, performing in many musicals. When her children were in school, she was active in the Girl Scouts, 4-H, PTA and room mother. She enjoyed life and was always the “life of the party”. She also enjoyed being around people and her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved taking care of people. Billie was an avid Cleveland Indians and Cavaliers Fan. She was a loyal employee of the Chardon Taco Bell, having been a “people person”, she enjoyed working at the cash register.
Survivors include her husband, Andy Stawicki of Hambden Twp., children Sherry Wick of Avon Lake, Sheila (David) Bendinelli of Denver, CO, Marcella (Mike) Reese of Willowick and Rebecca Stawicki of Hambden Twp., grandchildren Jessica, Rachael (Judson) Terrell, Brian and Tyler Wick, Kerri (Marco) Porreco, Jordan (Elmarie), Ryan (Stephanie) and Brittany and Natalie Bendinelli, Nathan and Madelyn Reese, and great grandchildren Lilly, Cayden, Graham, Aria, Jett, Ria, Roman, Mila and Luca and soon to be 2 more. She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 siblings.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 and 5:00 – 7:00 PM Wednesday, December 6, at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. (on St. Rt. 44, 500’ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon, with the Funeral service at 7:00.
