Anthony M. Barille
Age 71 of Munson Twp., passed away peacefully September 9, 2017 at the Cleveland Clinic, surrounded by his loving family. Born August 13, 1946 in Cleveland, to Anthony and Florence (nee: Mancini), he was a lifelong area resident. Anthony proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a loving husband, father and an amazing “Papa.” His greatest joy was spending time with his wife, his children and grandchildren. He was an avid golfer and he thoroughly enjoyed Cleveland sports. He was well respected in his professional life as the owner of Diversified Credit Service. He lived life to the fullest and left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Virginia (nee: Nawalanic) Barille of Munson Twp, daughters Beverly (Rick) Mysyk of Chardon, Michelle (Quentin) Fisher of Munson Twp., Cathy (Adam) Fender of Auburn Twp. and Nicole (Sam) Meister from Chardon, grandchildren Jessica, Nick, Jenna, Alyssa, Hannah, Matthew, Morgan, Rachel, AJ, Jordyn, Andrew, Luke, Emily and Abigail. He also leaves his sisters Judy (Dennis) Bodziony, Florence (Chris) Wenz and Marie (Rick) Bentley and his brother Fr. Nick Barille. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 12 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. (St. Rt. 44, 500’ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square), Chardon. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 13 at the Church of St. Mary, 401 North St., Chardon. Private family burial will be at a later date. The family suggests donations be made to Metzenbaum Center, 8200 Cedar Road, Chesterland, 44026 in Anthony’s name.
