Anna Ruth (Tucker) Bond, 80, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed on to our Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 19, 2011. Anna was born on July 5, 1931 in a farmhouse in Parkman, Ohio. Anna was an active member of Rainbow Girls, and graduated from Cleveland’s Glenville High School. In Cleveland she met and married her sweetheart and husband of 60 years. She was a member of The Church of the Epiphany in Euclid, Ohio, where, for two years, she coordinated the Vacation Bible School. Anna had a lifelong dedication to children and, while rearing her own seven children, cared for others, opening her heart and home to them. She worked for the Cleveland Public Schools as a Teacher’s Aide for very young children. Anna had a gift for nurturing and caring for others, and everyone who knew her were blessed by that gift. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bertram and Cora (Wilkes) Tucker and her sister, Lois Downs. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Angus, their seven children and their spouses, and her thirteen dear grandchildren, along with cousins, nieces and nephews and good friends. VISITATION: Friday, November 25, 11:00 – 1:00 at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. (On Rt. 44, 500′ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon. FUNERAL SVC: 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Overlook Cemetery, Parkman Twp.
