In loving memory of Alexis “Lexi” Marie Miller, 15, of Canton, OH, who passed away on June 26, 2015 at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born on June 8, 2000 in Chardon, Ohio. Lexi, who was affectionately called “Lil Mill”, “Lexi Lou” or “Lou Bear” by many, could light up any room with her smile and infectious laugh. She was a member of Faith Family Church and was recently baptized. She loved thoughts of the day and Bible verses. Her favorite quotes were: “I don’t need easy, I just need possible” and “Don’t let fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.” Lexi was a huge country music fan, especially loving Rascal Flatts. She loved the color purple, to sing, dance, skateboard, swim, bowl, shop, and loved spending time with her family, friends and her two dogs Kozmo and Max. She truly loved life, never had a bad day, and could make your day better and brighter by her lively personality. Lexi was to be a freshman at Glen Oak High School. She was so excited to help her brother Adam plan WALK4LEXI. WALK4LEXI will still be held on July 10, 2015 at Glen Oak High School Stadium in her memory. Lexi is survived by her loving parents Tim and Amy (nee: Buehner) Miller; brother Adam; grandparents Larry and Beth (nee: Robertson) Buehner and Buzz and Nancy (nee: Fluharty) Miller; great-grandfather Foster Miller Sr. and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents Marjorie (nee: Brainard) Miller, Carl and Betty (nee: Hartzell) Fluharty, Louis and Marion (nee: Zehe) Buehner and Henry and Wilma (nee: Ritter) Robertson. Family and friends will be received from 11 am until 2:30 pm on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South ST. (On Rt. 44, 500’ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon, OH. A funeral service will be held at 3 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at All Souls Cemetery. Donations suggested in memory of Lexi to “Benefit for Lexi Miller” at any Huntington Bank location. Arrangements by the Burr Funeral Home of Chardon.
