Alan proudly served in the US Navy for 7 years. He was stationed on the USS Nemetz. He was an avid outdoorsman. He could always be found hunting and fishing. He knew every bird that ever landed in the yard. He was known as a “jack of all trades ” and was always helping his friends with projects. Alan is survived by his parents Harry and Ruth (nee: Gatts) Fernandez of Hambden Twp., OH, brothers Rick &Cindy Fernandez of Perry, OH and Fern & Barb Fernandez of Thompson Twp., OH, 10 Nieces and 2 Nephews, including locals, Jessica and Kyah Fernandez.
