Edward “Ed” J. Peters, Age 76 of Chardon Twp., died Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Hillcrest Hospital. Born December 18, 1941 in Cleveland, he has been a Chardon resident since 1968. Ed was a graduate of Fenn/Cleveland State University, Chemical Engineering. He retired from Eltech after 35 years of service. In retirement, he enjoyed his grandchildren, gardening and his German Shepherds.
Survivors include his wife Patricia (nee: Vargo) Peters, children Anna Marie (John), Edward J. (Amie) Jr., Joseph P. (Daniella) and 7 grandchildren, Ryan, Elissa, Mason, Alexa, Aaron, Cameron and Maria.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., Friday, April 27, 2018, his 55th Wedding Anniversary, at the Church of St. Mary, 401 North Street, Chardon, Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. at the church, followed by private family burial.
