August Kofol, Age 75 of Chardon Twp., died November 20, 2017. Born December 18, 1941 in Yugoslavia, he proudly served in the US Army. August loved spending time with his family and working outside in his yard. He was a big fan of Polka Music and a faithful follower of the Chardon Polka Band. He retired from Key Bank after 35 years of loyal service in Storage and Data management.
Survivors include his children Anthony (Dynette) Kofol of Hambden Twp. and Steven Kofol of Chardon, grandchildren Valeree, Christine, Allison and Megan Kofol and his sister Gabriela Kofol of Solon. He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Stefancic.
The family will receive friends Monday, November 27 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. (on St. Rt. 44, 500’ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon.
